At ToteDaddy, we’re a bit different.
How so, you may ask
Well… we’re not exactly your traditional online gambling site. You know the type, with your flashy casino games, card shark online opponents and gambling odds calculated using formulas more complicated than your last tax return. You’ll find none of that on ToteDaddy
Instead, we put the power into the hands of players. It’s simple: Players create the events, based purely on their own creativity. Whether it’s an event of global importance, or your local village games, it has a home on ToteDaddy.
Players create the odds, by simply placing their bets on their favourite option. Odds go up and down based on bets received, no need for a guy with a PHD in statistics and rocket science to figure it out.
Players submit the results. 95% of the pool is paid out to players.To make things even sweeter, as the bookie you can even decide to take a cut of the pool to reward your own efforts at promoting the event. So go tell your mates, your granny, the guy at the convenience store!
As a heads up, some suggestions we have to make the most of your ToteDaddy experience:
Play the arbitrage game: You may find betting events on ToteDaddy that are very similar to those offered elsewhere. We can’t guarantee our odds will be better than theirs, but they will most certainly be different as our odds are calculated very differently (plus we don’t need to conservatively price our odds, as you’re never playing against the house). The canny gambler can use these differences to their advantage!
Become a power bookie!:
The higher your bookie rating, the more people will bet on your events. And if you choose to keep a few percent as your bookie fee… well, more power to you! We’re more than happy for you to go out there and promote your ToteDaddy events via your websites, blogs, social networking sites.
Help Charity!: While you’re here, take a look at ToteDaddy’s charity work, and take part! You can even use ToteDaddy as a way to help your own charity or foundation; just set your bookie fees higher and tell the world what you’ll do with that money.
Be creative!: Go ahead, create any event you can conceive of, no matter how offbeat! The more interesting the event, the more other people might want to have a laugh and join in.
Advertise your events!: Check out the Advertise Your Event link in the Member Area if you want YOUR events to appear throughout the ToteDaddy site.
Join the community!: Discuss… well, pretty much anything on the ToteDaddy forums!
Be nice to animals!: Don’t forget to feed your cat while spending all day checking out the latest offerings on ToteDaddy.
